A respected figure in Akinyele community and immediate past Vice-Chairman Akinyele South LCDA, Igboloyin, Elder G.O Akinyele has described recently sacked Mogaji of Opopo Labiran, Mr. Wale Oladoja as a serial liar who is hell bent to assassinate the character and stool of Oba Hamidu Ajibade for ulterior motives.
Elder Akinyele described the statement credited to Mr. Wale Oladoja saying Oba Hamidu Ajibade involved in illegal mining as untrue and mere character assassination from someone who is still suffering from what befall him as a result greediness and love for materials things.
Elder Akinyele said that the public know who has soiled reputation and destroyed his public image. The deposed Mogaji should not be taking serious by any right thinking individual, he is an attention seeker because he can no longer perpetrate evils through land grabbing which he was suspended for by Olubadan-in-Council; Akinyele said.
‘’Oba Hamidu Ajibade is a thoroughbred Omoluabi laced with integrity of honesty and transparency in business sphere. Oba Ajibade has been known for years for impactful contribution to his family, Ibadanland and Nigeria’’.
Mogaji Oladoja is nursing the wound of his sacking, he should not be taking serious, he has no meaningful contribution to his compound, development of Ibadanland he pledged to serve except involved in activities not expected from compound head in Ibadan.
Mogaji Oladoja was quoted to have said; “I am of the belief that for Oyo State to get rid of illegal mining, the likes of Oba Hamidu Ajibade needs to be questioned”. The statement is not only confrontation to the stool but Mogaji Oladoja should be challenged to substantiate his claim.
The publication by online media platform named MoacTV on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 has a lot of derogatory words coming from Mogaji Oladoja to Oba Hamidu Ajibade.
‘’I was astounded when I read statement credit to Mogaji Oladoja about our revered father, Oba Hamidu Ajibade who has carved niche for himself as a member of Olubadan-in-Council and as Chairman, Chief Executive, Aminat Limited’’.
Oba Ajibade is an elder statesman, a strong pillar of Olubadan-in-Council and a business mogul who specialized in Clearing and Forwarding. ‘’I want to urge members of the public to not pay attention to naysayer and land grabber like Mogaji Oladoja’’.
‘’I want to appeal to Ekerin Olubadan to clear himself of the allegation because I don’t believe our royal father can involve in such evil business’’.
