RTEAN Gets New Chairman In Oyo

The new state chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, (RTEAN) Comrade Idowu Kamorudeen has promised the members of the union that his tenure will give welfare of members utmost priority.

He gave this express indication at a press briefing with selected media personal in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

Comrade kamorudeen is replacing the former chairman prince Kehinde Adeyemo. He said prince Adeyemo is a leader that all and sundry should emulate, because he left indelible footprints in the union.

Comrade Kamorudeen alsoo expressed his appreciation to the entire RTEAN Members for counting him worthy to lead them in handling the affairs of the association.

He promised that he would not disappoint them for reposing their mandate in him, adding that apart from making the welfare of all members his top priority, his era would usher in a period of unprecedented change for the body

The chairman also commended the incumbent Governor of Oyo state , Engineer Seyi Makinde for the giant strides he has been making in the state with the appointment he had made so far ensuring that only round pegs in round holes, particularly the appointment of the new Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Barrister Lateef Oyeleke.
Comrade Kamorudeen also pledged his support for the Administration of Governor Makinde.
