A former deputy national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Afeez Bolaji Repete, has obtained the nomination form to contest the Oyo Central Senatorial seat in the 2027.
On your behalf and in your name, just few days ago, precisely 30th day of April 2026,I picked up my expression of interest and nomination forms to run for the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This is not a contest driven by desperation or personal aggrandizement, it is a deliberate and considered offer of experience, vision and proven stewardship forged over years of dedicated service within Oyo State and on the national stage of our great nation, Nigeria.
I am excited, and I come to you with a golden heart, ready to serve both the young and old. I want to gladly call on every other aspirant running for the same position to let us put our party first, above any personal interest. After the primary, our unity and togetherness will matter much more than who has the ticket. Only one person will emerge, and with your support, I am confident in your ability to trust me on this assignment. I therefore urge that we compete with honour, and close ranks with conviction.
