On Saturday, 30th March, 2024, Malta Guinness, Africa’s no 1 Adult premium malt brand, joined hands with the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Oyo State Chapter, to provide food items and product support for 200 beneficiaries during the holy month of Ramadan.

FOMWAN, a federation of over 150 Muslim associations spread across Nigeria, is dedicated to improving the lives of Muslims, particularly women and children. President of FOMWAN, Oyo State Chapter, Dr. Lateefat Dairo, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Malta Guinness for their generous gesture. “In these trying times, Malta Guinness has shown remarkable thoughtfulness by providing food items and Malta Guinness products to beneficiaries in our community. Alhaja Sururat Oyewo, the State Chairperson for Humanitarian Service and Community Development, as well as one of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Sherifat Ayowale, both extended their appreciation to Malta Guinness, praying for the brand’s continued growth and prosperity.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Ife Odedere, Senior Brand Manager, Non-Alcoholics Category, Guinness Nigeria, emphasized the significance of Malta Guinness’ Halal certification. “Malta Guinness is Halal-certified, ensuring it adheres strictly to Islamic dietary laws and principles. This certification allows consumers to enjoy Malta Guinness throughout Ramadan without any concerns about its permissibility.” This initiative aligns with Malta Guinness’ ongoing “Do Good, Feel Good” campaign, which seeks to spread kindness and positivity within communities.

Drawing the curtain on the ceremony, beneficiaries, including women, men, and children, expressed their excitement and eagerly posed for photos alongside association executives and representatives from Malta Guinness, showcasing the spirit of unity and shared goodness fostered through community support.

The gesture signifies a continuation of Malta Guinness’ Ramadan activities, following similar initiatives in the Dutsen Alhaji community of Abuja. The next stop for this campaign is Lagos, where the Shomolu community is set to benefit from the Malta Ramadan goodness.
