The Global President of National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS), Comrade Bamidele Danielson Akpan has announced the naming of the Students’ Union Building of The Polytechnic, Ibadan after Comrade Adeyemi Adeniran (Likedat) a former Joint Campus Committee Chairman of Oyo State.
Akpan declared this at the Candle Light Procession held in honour of the memories of Likedat at Ibadan, Oyo State on Thursday, 26th of December, 2019. “NANS President has secured the support of management of The Polytechnic Ibadan to rename the Students’ Union Building of the institution after Late Adeyemi Abiodun Adeniran(Likedat) in effort to immortalise him.”
Comrade Adeniran died in a car crash on Thursday, 19th of December, 2019 on his way back from Abuja at Egbeda, Ibadan, Oyo. Hundreds of youths and Students had gathered at his Oluseyi house in Ibadan to hold a rally on his behalf.
