For further investigation, the Oyo State Police Command have moved the Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Wasiu Olafisoye Akinmoyede, and others who were arrested in connection with the murder of a lawmaker, Hon. Temitope Olatoye Sugar to the Force Headquarters.
Sources who confirmed this to OYO INSIGHT said that associates of the deceased lawmaker, who was representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency as well as selected family members are also in the nation’s capital to say what they know. This, according to the police sources, is to allow easy investigations.
Six people had been arrested in connection with the murder which took place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Lalupon.
Akinmoyede is representing Lagelu state constituency.
