While speaking at a Special Iftar session hosted by Ibadan APC Chieftain, Oloye Akinade Fìjàbi, Mogaji Tegbe noted that the last ten days of Ramadan provide opportunities to gain multiple rewards by giving sadaqa to the needy for the sake of seeking the delight of Allah.

He said, “of particular note, Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree also known as Night of Power, is one of the most sacred nights in the Islamic calendar which occurs in the last ten days of Ramadan. It is also believed to be the night in which Allah shows great mercy to His creation and the night in which one’s fate is decreed.”

The Great Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever prays on Laylatul Qadr out of faith and sincerity, shall have all their past sins forgiven,” (Hadith, Bukhari and Muslim).

Mogaji Tegbe also noted that Ramadan fasting symbolizes spiritual rejuvenation. He urged our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to adhere to the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) which instructs us all to be our brother’s keepers and ensure service to humanity.

Tegbe, a gubernatorial hopeful, was joined at the session by notable APC Chieftains and socialites like Alh Fatai Ibikunle, Barrister Fatai Akinsanmi, Alh Najeem Gbayawu, Hon Taoreed Adeleke, Alh Isiaka Alimi, Hon Lasun Adebunmi, Alh Dotun Olaoye, Alh Abass Olókó, Hon Olanrewaju Safiu, Alh Isiaka Arikewuyo, Comrade Abidemi Sanni, Chief Remi Ladotun, Hon Saheed Fijabi, Asiwaju Tayo Alabi, Hon Jídé Adegbite, and a host of others
