The senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district, Hadjia Monsurat Sunmonu yesterday joined other lawmakers to participate in iftar (breaking of fast) with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Villa, Abuja.
Only recently, Sunmonu, a former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, was on Buhari’s entourage to the United States to visit President Donald Trump.
She is one of the leading female lawmakers in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
