The federal lawmaker representing AFIJIO, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West federal constituency, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi has reiterated his commitment to the development of Oyo town through adequate representation and facilitation of meaningful projects.
The Oyo-Prince stated this during an inspection tour of some of the ongoing road projects under Oyo federal constituency
Some of the road projects inspected included Boroboro Oke Medina, Ori Awo leading to Abolongo Prison as well as Kosobo-Awe roads.
Skimeh, as the three-term lawmaker is popularly known, had, in a bid to contribute to the development of Oyo state, embarked on inspection of road construction projects under his constituency.
The road projects according to the former council chairman were initiated and constructed to boost economic activities in the areas and town.
The lawmaker explained that the projects will no doubt reduce the sufferings of motorists and pedestrians in the affected areas.
One of the chairmen of the communities, Mr Ismail Adekunle, commended Skimeh for the works done in the constituency.
Residents also expressed their gratitude to the ranking lawmaker for fulfilling his promise to them and making the area motorable and easier to pass.
They were advised to maintain the roads by not littering them and dumping refuse in the drainage systems.
