Over 80 widows across AFIJIO local government area were gathered to celebrate the Easter season with the House of Assembly member-elect for the state constituency, Barrister Seyi Adisa, on Monday.
The women, drawn from all the 8 regions of the LGA, received goodies both in cash and commodities, and also a reassurance of commitment to their continued well-being, from the lawyer cum politician.
He wrote on his social media handles, “While the goal is set to empower and build capacity for the younger ones amongst them, today, I continued my Easter celebrations with the amiable widows in AFIJIO.”
