As exclusively reported by OYOINSIGHT.COM, two-term former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye, has dumped the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
At an elaborate ceremony that took place at the Yemetu party office of the PDP in Ibadan North local government, Radical, as Olaleye is fondly called, and others were received by the chairman of the PDP in Oyo State, Alh Kunmi Mustapha, State Secretary, Alh Wasiu Adeleke, State Youth Leader, Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye, State Financial Secretary, Hon Arinola Temitope, Chairman of PDP in Ibadan North LG who also double as the Executive Chairman of Oyo Waste Management Authority, OYWMA, Prince Seun Adelore and the State PRO, Engr Akeem Olatunji.
This newspaper had reported how Radical, a former president of the University of Ibadan, UI, students Union is known, represented Ibadan North state constituency 2 between 2011 and 2019.
Radical, who had confirmed his defection to OYOINSIGHT.COM, said he was “moved by the achievements of the incumbent administration being marshaled by Governor Seyi Makinde.”
“I am grateful to all the coalition leadership, especially Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, who has proven to be a good mother to me,” added Radical who was part of those who were instrumental to the process that produced Makinde as the coalition candidate in last year’s election.
