The Nigeria Police Force, NPF, has upgraded the Ilora police station to a divisional police headquarters.
Ilora is one the towns in AFIJIO local government.
At a ceremony held to mark the upgrade, Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, was represented by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone XI, Adeleye Oyebade.
In attendance were the Oyo State commissioner of police, Shina Olukolu, the Akibio of Ilora Land, HRH Oba Stephen Olufemi Oyeniyi Oparinde II, and other important personalities.
