Owners of shops that got burnt last Monday’s inferno that ravaged a furniture company around Iyaganku have visited the commissioner for public works, infrastructure and transportation, Professor Raphael Afonja.
This was after Governor Seyi Makinde had led members of his cabinet to the site of the inferno to commiserate with them and access level of damage.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported how the furniture company was gutted by fire last week.
In their remarks, the team appreciated the prompt visit of Makinde to the site of the incident and also identifying with them at this trying period.
They thereafter appealed to the state government for financial support in rebuilding the workshops and offices, for prompt resumption of business activities.
