Officials of the Societal Development Goals’ office led by the senior special assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Kunle Yusuf, toured SDGs projects spread across 13 local government areas of the state.

This is in line with the Makinde administration’s resolve to complete all ongoing projects for the betterment of the masses.

The tour which started at St. Mary Catholic Primary School, Sango, Eruwa, headquarters of Ibarapa East local government, saw the team visiting Faramola Community Primary School, Iseyin, ADC Primary School, Ago- Amodu at Saki East local government before ending it at Baptist Primary School, Ofiki in ATISBO local government.

Community leaders who spoke during the tour of the four local government areas expressed appreciation to the administration of Makinde, saying that they would be grateful if more projects are initiated to ease their burden.

According to them, “Since 1999, we have never seen any primary school built to the standard with all amenities, particularly wih solar energy system like this. We say thank you to Governor Seyi Makinde.”

This is just as the headmasters also emphasized on the security issue to avoid vandalism.

It will be the turn of Ogbomoso- Oyo- ilora Zone tomorrow while the team would visit Ibadan, the state capital, on Thursday.

While reacting, the SDGs boss said that “You will recall that from the beginning of Makinde administration, priority has been given to the educational development and the SDGs office has been working tirednessly in making sure that all the projects under our supervision is positively completed for the pupils access for better education.

“Our office has been working vigorously to make sure that all the projects under our supervision is completed in line with SDGs manual,” he added.
