Ogbomoso-born Peter Oyekale, who was a sign language interpreter with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in the just concluded election, is said to be in critical condition in a hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by unknown persons.
He was yesterday stabbed by yet-to-known attackers in Abuja.
He is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center, FMC, Jabi-airport Abuja.
One Chidi Topaz Olujie had written on his twitter: “The sad news is reaching me that one of the top Interpreters in the Deaf Community: Mr. Peter Oyekale was stabbed and now lies in Critical Condition.”
