Former president Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday visited the Felele, Ibadan home of former deputy governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja.
Arapaja is a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Though details of his visit were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, OYO INSIGHT recalled that Arapaja was recently whisked to Abuja following the death of one person at his family compound during the presidential and National Assembly election on February 23rd, 2019.
Arapaja was said to have remove his trademark cap when the assassin arrived the polling unit, carting away already filled ballot boxes and killing the victim in the process.
OYO INSIGHT further learnt that Obasanjo was earlier at the University of Ibadan where he gave a keynote message during the book presentation of Prof. Mark Nwagwu’s latest book titles; “Time Came Upon Me,” which he dedicated to the memory of his wife, Prof. Helen Nwagwu.
