Top personalities in the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, last night treated former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala to a surprise birthday bash.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported that the Ogbomoso-born retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, who was born on June 3rd, 1950, clocked 71 yesterday.
At the mini party which took place inside Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Alao-Akala kinsmen, Sunday Dare, who is sports and youth development minister; AbdulFatai Buhari, who is representing Oyo North senatorial district for the second time; Olusegun Odebunmi BUNVIC, who is representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency for a third consecutive time; Engr. Mufutau Open Salawu, a former special adviser to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi and Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, son of the celebrant, joined others to make the event memorable.
Others in attendance were house of representatives members from the state which included Akeem Adeyemi, who is representing AFIJIO, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West for a second term; Akin Alabi, a first term member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara, Adeolu Akande, chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC; Yunus Akintunde, a senatorial aspirant in Oyo central; Dayo Ajibola, a former member of the NYSC board and Usman Muheedeen Bamidele, chairman of BMU Consult Ltd, whi hails from Igbo-Ora in Central local government.
Former First Lady, Kemi Alao-Akala, was beside her husband to make the event memorable.
