Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Saturday, held special prayers to celebrate the 81st posthumous birthday of his late mum, Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde.
OYOINSIGHT recalls that the Governor’s mum died in October few weeks to her birthday .
In a statement on his official Facebook account, the governor stated that his late mum lives on in “our hearts.”
“This morning, we held prayers to mark what would have been my mother-Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde’s 81st birthday.
“Mama lives on in our hearts and in the legacy of discipline, kindness and generosity she taught us. May her soul continue to rest in peace,” the governor wrote.
