The last day of the year 2019 will continued to be remembered by followers of Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina.
Lam-Adesina, who represented Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency between 2015 and 2019, empowered 20 of them with funds and materials to boost their businesses.

OYOINSIGHT.COM recalled that the youthful politician launched the Omo-Oloore Foundation. The mandate was to identify his supporters who owns smalls and medium scale enterprises and whose businesses could be raised through the support of the foundation.
This, according to Lam-Adesina, was in tandem with his belief that are lots of people who are out there who do not need too much to support their businesses.
Not less than 20 of them, who are small scale business owners, received financial grants, materials and items worth about a million naira to boost their businesses.

“The Foundation is aware that things like this had been organized in the past and in order to ensure its effectiveness, adequate follow up measure has been put in place,” he said, adding that “the programme is an avenue to support people who are hardworking but have little or no capital to start a business of their own.”
“As usual, the wellbeing of my people is very paramount and that, I will never take for granted. I have come to realize that many people out there are willing to own a business but funding is the obstacle holding them back and also it is said that after losing elections, politicians are known for abandoning their followers and citizens until the next election year is close. This type of impression we must change,” he explained.

Just like he did last week when food items, cash and some other gifts were given to supporters as Christmas gifts, he also used the occasion to give out New Year gifts to his followers in a show of appreciation for their unwavering support throughout the year while one of his longtime associates went home with a motorcycle.
