Late Busari Gbolagade’s best friend, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who is deputy governor of Lagos State led other friends to Soun Ajagungbade, Bodija Estate residence of the deceased to offer Fidau prayers.
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that Buso, as Gbolagade is fondly called, had last week died at 58.
The sports journalists and immediate past executive chairman of the Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, was a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, before his demise.
Other personalities at the fidau included chairman of the Nigeria Lottery Regulatory Commission, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle; former secretary to the state government under the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi, Alh. Olalekan Alli; former attorney general and commissioner for justice, Barr. Adebayo Ojo, former commissioner for information, culture and tourism, Hon. Toye Arulogun, Governor Seyi Makinde’s special adviser on political matters, Hon. Babatunde Oduyoye, Hon. Ope Salami, Tunde Muraina among others.
Also in attendance were 3SC general manager, Rasheed Balogun, SWAN chairman Oyo State, Mr. Niyi Alebiosu, 3SC management and members of different political parties.
