Youthful Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Debo Ogundoyin displayed his huge love for his mother, Chief Mrs Tina Ogundoyin yesterday as she clocked 60.
Debo, 33, staged a surprise dinner for his mum at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Jericho, Ibadan.
The unsuspecting socialite was tricked into the venue where the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, some House of Assembly members, family, friends and well wishers were already seated.
The event was a gathering of the who-is-who in Oyo political and social circles.
Tina is a prominent socialite that has ruled the Ibadan and Lagos social space for several years. She is the wife of late successful businessman, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin who died many years ago.
Popularly called the Queen of Sheba, Tina is the most prominent of Ogundoyin’s wives. She is an Igbo woman who has lived all her life in Ibadan.
According to OperaNews, she attended St Theresa’s College and trained as a Secretary before she met and married the business mogul at the age of 19. She is a successful businesswoman that plays in the oil and gas sector.
