Teslim Folarin, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, was part of those who graced the inauguration of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as governor of Ekiti State.
He was in Ado-Ekiti with some top chieftains of the APC which included senatorial candidate of the party in Oyo south, Sharafadeen Alli; Idris Adeoye, Sina Alabi, Akeem Olatunji and host of others.
Others who came from Oyo at the event were late former governor Lamidi Adesina’s deputy, Iyiola Oladokun and Zacch Adedeji, executive director of the Nigeria Sugar Development Council, NCDC.
Folarin, who is a three-term senator had moments with APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu; former Osun governor, Bisi Akande; southwest governors— Rotimi Akeredolu, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dapo Abiodun and Benedict Alabi who represented Gboyega Oyetola of Osun.
Other dignitaries present included Plateau governor, Simon Lalong; Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) among others.
The immediate past Ekiti governor, Kayode Fayemi, his predecessor, Ayodele Fayose were also at the Ekiti Parapo Pavillion, the venue for the inauguration.
Not left out are the Minister of Trade Industry and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo; the outgoing Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, Ekiti Speaker Funminiyi Afuye and former Chief of Defence Staff, Gabriel Olonsakin.
Former Chief of Army Staff, Azubike Iherijika; the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu; Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti, Oba Adebanji Alabi were among other dignitaries in attendance.
