One week after his appointment as special assistant political, (Southwest) to speaker of the house of representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, he has facilitated and handed over a solar powered water project to an Ibadan community.
At a brief handing over ceremony at Felele, today, residents trooped out, singing and dancing to appreciate the gesture of the former lawmaker.
Many of them who took turns to talk about the former commissioner of sports said they have always been thrilled by his gesture, especially since he left the green chambers.
The water project, sunk with heavy industrial drilling machine, has four overhead tanks and it is expected to serve many households in the community.
The 43-year old former lawmaker who was represented at the event by Alhaji Yinusa Adeogun said that whether in or out of government, he won’t stop putting smiles on people’s faces.
“You will recall that before and after he left the house of representatives, he has always been committed to people’s welfare and empowerment. I personally have realized it has become a part of him to assist, to give succor to the needy”Alh Adeogun said
He used the opportunity to thank, Rt. (Hon.) Femi Gbajabiamila on behalf of the community for finding Hon Adedapo Lam Adesina worthy of the new appointment.
The representative of the former lawmaker further assured that Omo Oloore will strive to attract more projects and will also pull from his personal resources like he had done in the past for worthy causes.”
