Senator Ibikunle Amosun on Friday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.
OYOINSIGHT.COM reports that Ajimobi died in a Lagos last week Thursday during a brief illness.
Amosun, like Ajimobi, governed Ogun State for two terms between 2011 and 2019.
However, upon the completion of their tenure at their respective states, Ajimobi lost his bid to return to the Senate while Amosun won in Ogun State.
Until his demise, Ajimobi was the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
Amosun was received by the wife of the late Ibadan-born politician, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, her children and in-laws.
