The death of former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala is uniting political foes in Oyo state.

Alao-Akala, leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, breathed his last yesterday, at 71, less than 24 hours after returning from Abuja.

Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, and Teslim Folarin, three term senator representing Oyo central, met today when the former came to pay condolence visit at the Opadoyin Villa, Randa, Ogbomoso.

Shortly after paying his condolence message, Makinde, while leaving, jokingly moved towards Folarin and others. The senator,  Femi Babalola, Zacch Adedeji and others who were near burst into laughter. They later shook hands.

Makinde had earlier, in his condolence message, said that “Sometimes, it is not how long but how well and I will explain it to you. Here, we have my brother, Senator Teslim Folarin. I can also see Hon. Segun Odebunmi (Bunvic) and almost all the political leanings in Oyo State are here. We have lost, perhaps, the most experienced politician this state has ever produced.”
