Despite the controversy trailing the refusal of security officers to allow the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan gain entrance to the 8th day Fidau prayer of Abiola Ajimobi, the low-key event had in attendance various dignitaries.
OYOINSIGHT.COM reported that Ajimobi, the immediate past Governor of Oyo State died in Lagos after a brief illness.
His remains was interred 3 days later at his Oluyole home.
Foremost among the clerics at the 8 day fidau prayer held in his honour today was Sheikh Muhideen Ajani Bello.
Former Oyo State governor, Alao Akala also graced the occasion.
