Four former House of Representatives on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, met yesterday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, resolving to remain a single political unit.
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that the quartet of Adedapo Lam-Adesina (Ibadan North East /South East), Taiwo Akintola (Egbeda/Ona-Ara), Olasupo Abiodun (Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola) and Olugbemi Olusunbo (Oluyole) had, in the build up to the 2019 general elections, defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC. They represented their various federal constituencies between 2015 and 2019.
This is just as they equally affirmed their membership of the ADC and that any future political decision will be taken as a family and with due consultation with leaders and their supporters.
The former congressmen also re-affirmed their faith in the coalition agreement that produced Governor Seyi Makinde as the governor of Oyo State in the 2019 general election. They also prayed for the success of the administration in steering the affairs of the state.
