Popular Ibadan-based juju musician and chairman of fastest growing radio station, Fresh 105.9 FM Ibadan, Mr Yinka Ayefele, today paid a courtesy visit on the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun at the Governor’s Office, Abeokuta to intimate him of the establishment of a sister station, Fresh 107.9 FM, Abeokuta.
The radio station is coming more than two and a half years after the Ipoti Ekiti-born broadcaster established a radio station in Ibadan.
The new station, inside source told OYO INSIGHT, will ‘test run’ service till after August until the remaining gadgets arrive the country.
It was further learnt some of the station’s popular programmes would be networked while others will be syndicated.
The source, however, added that the stations will run independently of one another.
Fresh FM Ibadan is one of the most listened to radio stations in the country, especially in the South West.
