The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Shina Peller is set to mark his 45th birthday, on Friday May 14, with a summit to address the rising cases of insecurity across the country.
Within the last three months, more than 1000 Nigerians have been killed across Nigeria and 949 kidnapped in Kaduna State alone.
Bothered about this development, the Iseyin-born lawmaker decided to celebrate his birthday with a National Security and Peace Symposium, feauturing a public discourse roundtable for sustainable solutions to the myriads of security challenges facing the country.
The symposium with the theme “National Security and Peace: Role of Government, Citizens and Institutions”, is powered by Lead Generation Initiative (LGI).
According to the organizers, it promises to be the largest national security and peace dialogue bringing together security experts, community leaders and traditional leaders, as well as governors from different states of the federation.
One week from today, Hon. Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Oyo State will turn 45 years.
