Peller Gives Reasons For Organising ‘The Future Is Now Conference’

    A federal lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Honourable Shina Peller, has explained the rationale behind the just concluded International Conference themed The Future is Now, which was organized by the Jet Age Nation Builders in partnership with Lead Generation Initiative (LGI) at Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.

    The federal legislator explained that the conference was purposely organized to bring together people of great minds from different fields to discuss, exchange thoughts and ideas on how to make things work for Nigeria and African continent.

    In the same vein, Hon. Peller added that it was a very productive gathering as panelists engaged one another and participants with a robust discourse on the topics, Rebranding Nigeria for a New Future (Investment in a past COVID era) and Investing in Nigeria’s New Oil: The Youth.

    Highlighting the take-home points from the event, Hon. Peller stated that the task of rebranding Nigeria for better should be a shared responsibility, and must not be left alone to the government.

    Also, he noted that the future of Nigeria and Africa belongs to the youth, and that the future is now – meaning that the youth should start getting involved and taking responsibility right from their immediate communities.

    “On Monday at Marriott Hotel Ikeja, Lagos State, we successfully held The Future is Now Conference. The purpose of the conference was to bring people of great minds together to discuss how we can collectively make things work for Nigeria and Africa as a continent.

    “The event, organized by the Jet Age Nation Builders in partnership with Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), had as panelists vibrant, successful individuals from different fields who engaged one another and the participants with a robust and productive discourse on the topics, Rebranding Nigeria for a New Future (Investment in a past COVID era), and Investing in Nigeria’s New Oil: The Youth.

    “Everyone in attendance was excited to have people like Wale Olasoji, Abimbola Olufore, Joseph Endy Ogbuka, Hon. Akin Alabi, Kafayat Kaffy Shafau, Isaac Balami and others dwell extensively on the subject matter.

    “Some of the take-home points from the panel sessions are:

    “The task of making Nigeria better can’t be left alone to the government; everyone must see it as a shared responsibility.

    “The future of Nigeria and Africa belongs to the youth; and the future is now, so the youth must make a resounding statement through their actions that they are ready and get involved in politics right from their immediate localities.

    “The event also featured award and dinner night, where Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Alhaji Sadiq Umar Daware, the Chairman, North East Commodity Association, Sheik Sulaiman Faruk Onikijipa and others were honoured for their contribution to the societal development.”
