Pay ALGON Members Before August Or… — Supreme Court Orders Makinde

The Supreme Court has ordered the Seyi Makinde-led Oyo State government to pay salaries and allowances of council chairmen and councillors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who were illegally sacked from office.

In its ruling on Friday, the court noted that failure to obey this order latest by August this year will be considered a contempt of court order on the side of the state’s Attorney General.

OYOINSIGHT.COM reported that the ruling of the court, which is quite similar to judgment without justice, mandated the payment of twenty million naira to the wrongly removed officials.
