The governorship candidate of the Socialist Party of Nigeria, SPN, in Oyo State, Comrade Abiodun Bamigboye, was yesterday allegedly arrested by men of the Department of State Security, DSS.
Abbey Trotsky as Bamigboye is popularly known was said to have been arrested for purportedly ‘inciting’ workers of SUMAL Food Company (producers of Yale biscuits) against precarious and casual labour in October 2018.
He has however been released.
Comrade Hassan Taiwo Soweto, who is the SPN candidate for Ifo constituency II of Ogun State House of Assembly, confirmed Trotsky’s release.
