A cross section of residents from the 5 geopolitical zones in the state today admonished the State Governor, Engr  Seyi  Makinde to return members of the State Refuse Contractors to work in order to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
The people who spoke during a local radio programme in Ibadan remarked that the use of consultants should be scrapped in line with the need to ensure the cleanliness of the state.
They wondered why the former governor Abiola Ajimobi engaged in a draconian policy which has adversely affected the state and its teeming population.
The respondents argued further that most of the contractors and their workers were made to suffer for no just cause insisting that Makinde should not only sack the consultants but investigate her in line with his administration’s stance on graft.
They also enjoined the governor to set up a stakeholders forum of all the critical sectors special that the city can be rid of filth.
