Oyo Reinstates 300 ‘Wrongfully Dismissed’ Workers By Ajimobi Govt.

Three hundred workers, who were said to have been wrongly sacked by Abiola Ajimobi, former governor of Oyo State, are to be reinstated by the Seyi Makinde led administration.
Makinde, OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt, was said to have made the resolution during today State Executive Council meeting.
This afternoon, the Oyo State Executive Council met and agreed on the following;
1. The government will honour all court judgments on the cases of dismissed or retired civil servants.
2. All civil servants dismissed or retired without following due process, and the civil service regulations will be recalled and pardoned.
3. Approval of N57,400,000 for the cost of running the intervention classes for Senior Secondary 3 students in public secondary schools. 1,480 Mathematics and English teachers and teams of monitors will conduct the extra-mural classes in the state.
