Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli (APC- Oyo South), has been honoured with the Prestigious Legislator of the Year Award by Independent Newspaper Annual Merit Award.
The award ceremony held on Saturday at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted eminent personalities from across political and media landscapes nationwide.
The recognition celebrated Senator Alli’s outstanding legislative contributions, impactful representation and commitment to the development of his constituency and the nation at large.

Earlier on Saturday, Senator Alli attended the annual Ibadan Cultural Festival held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, where he joined traditional leaders and residents in celebrating Yoruba heritage.
The colourful cultural festival showcased rich traditions and unity among Ibadan indigenes, with the senator reaffirming his commitment to preserving cultural values and promoting community cohesion.
Following his participation at the cultural event, Senator Alli departed Ibadan for Lagos in the afternoon to attend the prestigious award ceremony later that evening.
