The administration of Governor Seyi Makinde today recovered additional 5 missing vehicles belonging to government.
This, OYO INSIGHT recalls, is in addition to the 14 already recovered, making it 19 in total.
The government had last week announced the recovery of 14 vehicles allegedly taken away by aides of former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Makinde’s executive assistant on security, retired DCP Sunday Odukoya, led his team to recover the vehicles at a mechanic workshop located at Olodo area of Ibadan.
The vehicles included 2 coaster buses, 1 Montero jeep, 1 Hyundai and a bullet proof jeep.
One of the car mechanics, who didn’t want name in print, disclosed that the 2 coastal buses are in good condition while the others are undergoing repairs.
