Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi Adejare (Kajola), Mr. Dele Akinleye (Itesiwaju), Engr. Abolade Yekeen Akanni (Iseyin) and Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu (Itesiwaju) have been screened as chairmanship aspirants in the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State.
This was disclosed after the party’s panel completed its screening Wednesday’s afternoon.
The party’s congress comes up next Saturday at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, formerly Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
While Gbadamosi is a known chieftain of the party, Akinleye was once secretary of the party in the state. Omodewu was commissioner for 8 years in the administration of Abiola Ajimobi, late former governor of Oyo State while Abolade was once council chairman.
