Oyo APC Forum Drums Support For Kazeem Kolawole Raji’s Senatorial Bid

The Senatorial aspiration of Engr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has received a major boost following his unanimous endorsement by the party’s forum in Ibadan less city comprising of five local government areas of Oyo State.

The endorsement is contained in a letter jointly signed by Mr. Oladiipo Olusegun and Hon. Esuola Olabayo, Chairman and Secretary of Ibadan APC Forum, Less City where it was disclosed that the decision followed the outcome of a meeting of representatives from the five local government areas held at Egbeda on Friday, May 21, 2021.

The Forum stated further, that Raji’s choice was borne out of his popularity among party members and in the grassroots which can earn victory for the party during the 2023 poll.

“It was unanimously decided that to win the race for the APC in Oyo Senatorial seat, the best aspirant is Hon. Kazeeem Kolawole Raji from Oyo. To ensure victory in the coming election, the party should field the best candidate from various aspirants.

“Hon. Kazeem Kolawole Raji stands out as he is very popular, highly disciplined, dependable and very competent to represent his people in the Senate. We are hereby endorsing him as a worthy aspirant for the seat,” the letter read.

The Forum also expressed confidence in the telecommunications guru to win the Oyo Central Senatorial contest in the 2023 election should he eventually emerge as the party’s candidate.

The Oyo-born Raji KK, as the former Executive Director of the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited is fondly called, is eyeing the parliamentary seat to represent the state’s central seat at the upper legislative chamber from 2023.

Ibadan Less City is comprised of Akinyele, Egbeda, Lagelu, Oluyole and Ona Ara local government areas.
