A former chief of staff and media adviser to national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Mr Sunday Dare, will from tomorrow meet with key political stakeholders in Ogbomoso, his hometown.
Dare is currently the executive commissioner in charge of stakeholders management at the Nigeria Communication Commission, NCC.
Though Dare hasn’t announced what he will be contesting for, OYO INSIGHT learnt that the award-winning journalist may run for the governorship election under the APC.
Already, Dare’s political group- Oyo On My Mind and Daniel Ayoola Dare Foundation have been going round to assist people.
Successfully, DAD has organized eye screening test for more than 5,000 people in Ogbomosho and Ibadan. Free eye glasses were also given to participants.
Expected at the meeting are APC executives and ward leaders from the 5 local government areas in Ogbomoso.
Also, it is expected that about 240 Stakeholders will be present at the meeting.
He will in the course of the weekend also consult with zonal leaders and members of the Ogbomoso Recreation Club.
Speaking with OYO INSIGHT on the phone, he confirmed that “I will also be doing a tour of 3 of the 5 LGAs- Orire. Surulere and Ogo Oluwa From 8am to 1pm while the meeting involving stakeholders from Ogbomoso North and South will hold between 1pm to 4pm in my house.
