A leading Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, yesterday obtained his expression of interest and governorship nomination form from the Wadata Plaza, National Headquarters of the party.
With that, Makinde has officially signified his readiness to contest the 2019 gubernatorial election.
Makinde, who was accompanied to Abuja by chieftains of the party like Chief Jacob Adetoro, Chief Sunday Ogunlade, Hon Remi Ayodele, former Speaker Oyo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Moruf Atilola and others expressed optimism in his ability to succeed outgoing Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
