Alhaja Shukurat Oyerinde-Ajibade, one of the daughters of late chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde, has dumped the All Progressives Congress. APC, for the opposition African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Fele, as late Oyerinde is known, died on August 21, 2018, aged 57.
In an exclusive chat with OYO INSIGHT, Mrs Ajibade, who is aspiring to represent Ibadan North state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, said she left the party because it is not favorable to women.
“I don’t want to be handpicked. I want to emerge through the normal process. I cannot allow imposition. It kills dream. I didn’t emerge during the 2015 election and heaven didn’t fall,” she said.
