Osun 2018: Sunday Igboho Steals Show As Adeoti Declares

Businessman and security expert, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, was the cynosure of all eyes as the Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, declared his bid to succeed outgoing governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Adeyemo, who hails from Igboho, headquarters of Oorelope local government area of Oyo State, is said to a a fan of the Iwo-born politician, who is one of the leading aspirant to the office. He was said to be close to former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola during his reign.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced September 22nd, 2018, for the governorship election in Osun state.

Apart from Igboho, Adeoti was accompanied by his teeming supporters, loyalists and well-wishers gathered from all local governments of the state.

Speaking at the short ceremony, Igboho, who was hailed by Adeoti’s supporters, affirmed his total readiness to work assiduously for the emergence and success of Adeoti at the polls.
