Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, is currently locked in a meeting members of the Olubadan-in-council, otherwise known as kingmakers
CoreNews.NG quoted sources as saying high chiefs Lekan Balogun, Rashidi Ladoja and other members of the council, numbering about ten are attending the meeting.
The meeting, the newspaper added, started shortly after the Makinde attended the Armed Forces Rememberance Day event which held at the Rememberance Arcade, opposite the Government House, Agodi Ibadan.
Barring last minute change, the Governor, to be accompanied by the members of the Olubadan-in-Council are expected to brief the press.
A source close to the government hinted that the meeting was facilitated in a bid to resolve and address all issues bothering on the selection of the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.
It was gathered that, if things go well at tge meeting, the Governor may appoint and or confirm the nomination of Balogun to ascend the Olubadan stool.
