A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Alhaji ‘Sina Alabi, has expressed shock over the death of the party chairman, Barrister Isaac Omodewu, saying that they spoke few days before his demise.

Alabi, who was once chairman of the defunct Trans City Transport Company, TCTC, (now Pacesetter Transport Service), said there was no sign the Otu-born lawyer was nearing his end.

“I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the sudden passing of a friend and our beloved party Chairman, Hon. (Barr) Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, in the United States.

“Just a few days ago, we were still in regular communication, and I had no inkling that you would be leaving us so soon. Your leadership qualities and vision were desperately needed, and your departure leaves a gaping void.

“My heartfelt condolences go out to your family, friends, and the entire Oyo State APC members. May your soul find eternal peace and rest. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy will live on in our hearts and the impact you made in Oyo State APC,” he added.
