Hours after the inauguration of a new number 2 man, the office of the deputy governor has been returned to its original place, OYOINSIGHT.COM.

Bayo Lawal had replaced Raufu Olaniyan yesterday’s afternoon, few hours after the lawmakers removed the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary.

This newspaper recalls that days after ditching the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Raufu Olaniyan, who was removed as deputy to Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State,  had been asked to resume at the ministry of environment.

Months before the transfer, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands the deputy governor’s office had been inhabitable as a midnight rainstorm had removed some roofing sheets, destroying the office useless in the process. No reason was given for the transfer but Olaniyan, against all odds, resumed at the new office.

This morning, this newspaper observed that the signpost erected when Olaniyan was drafted to the place had been removed.
