Omodewu Was A Unifier — APC Chieftain, Olateju

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ibadan South East/Ibadan North East federal constituency, Hon. Seun Olateju has mourned the sudden and sorrowful passage of Barrister Ajiboye Isaac Omodewu, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state who bade the world goodbye in the early hours of today.

In a heartfelt condolence message from his media office in Ibadan made available to newsmen, Hon. Olateju describes Chief Omodewu ‘s transition to eternal glory as a very unexpected and painful exit.

Hon. Olateju remarked that Chief Omodewu was a unifier, an astute political leader and invaluable administrator with ideology-driven acumen.

“Our state party chairman, Chief Omodewu’s stint in different ministries during the tenure of Governor Abiola Ajimobi typified leadership with numerous feats, as contributed to many facets of our state sectors, said Olateju”.

According to Hon. Olateju, the deceased party chairman would be greatly missed for his inspiring advice, wisdom and insightful strategies for party restructuring.

“It is so unfortunate that the cold hands of death snatched our party helmsman, especially now that reconciliation and rebuilding process is in progress towards reclaiming governance of the pace setter state, he lamented”.

The APC House of Representatives hopeful recalled that the party recorded huge electoral victorious during the last presidential and national assembly elections, owing to the savvy and sagacity of Chief Omodewu.

He stated that Chief Omodewu was a fair, equitable and just leader to all party faithfuls, whose demise has left a vacuum uneasy to be filled.

Hon. Olateju maintained that the principle of all inclusiveness, exemplified by the deceased APC state chairman is a worthy virtue for the progressive family to play politics without bitterness.

The APC stalwart sympathised with the people of Itesiwaju local government and the Omodewus for the irreparable loss of an illustrious son and bossom father, as well as friends, associates and admirers over the departure of an enigma.
