A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega, has congratulated Bayo Adelabu, governorship candidate of his party in the 2019 election as he clocks 51.
ARA, as he fondly called, is aiming to represent Oluyole federal constituency in the 2023 election.
Describing Adelabu as one of the highest employers of labour in the Oyo state, ARA expressed optimism that the former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, will ultimately do more when he eventually becomes governor.
”I want to join others to wish my numerous big brother a happy celebration as he marks another birthday. It is one man I know that is committed to the overall development of our dear state.
“I remember how he left CBN to come contribute his quota to the state. He may not have made it in the last election but I can tell you that he means well for the state. Only few of them exists. Even long before he resigned from the apex bank, he has been contributing greatly to our internally generated revenue and employment drive with his numerous businesses scattered around Ibadan, the state capital. So we can say the departed Olubadan Odugade saw what we did not when he installed him as Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadanland.
”This is a man who is committed to the development of the state. Anytime I speak with him, it is about Oyo State. He is more than prepared for the task. And I make bold to say that I won’t hesitate to lend my support, just like I have always done, for the actualization of his aspiration to govern Oyo State.
”As you celebrate yet another birthday, I pray God continue to be with you and all that is yours Egbon mi,” he said.
