The lawmaker representing ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West federal constituency, Hon. Olajide Olatubosun, has sent condolence messages to the family of late Chief Solomon Mojere Akindele and members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State and Nigeria.
S.M Akindele, as the late chairman of APC in Oyo central senatorial was fondly called, died at the age of 82 at an Ogbomoso hospital.
According to Olatubosun, the deceased consistently played fatherly role within the progressives fold, adding that his wise counsel and intervention were always timely and useful.
“Though I am not from the same senatorial district with Baba, he demonstrated deep fatherly love and affection anytime we met.
While it is painful he exited at a time the party needs his fatherly and wise counsel, we submit absolutely to the will of God, who has called Baba home, and we take solace in the fact that Baba lived a fulfilled, impactful and rewarding life.
“It is also heartwarming that he died a progressive, an ideal he believed in till he breathed his last.
“Its my prayer that God will comfort Baba’s immediate family and the entire Progressives family and give us the fortitude to bear the loss,” he added.
