Ogbomoso South Supervisory Councillor For Works Resigns

A Supervisory Councillor for Works and Special Duties in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, Ademola Peter Adedamola, has resigned from his position.

Adedamola announced his resignation in a letter dated November 3, 2026, addressed to the Executive Chairman of the local government, Arowomole Ogbomoso.

He said his resignation took effect immediately, thanking the council chairman for the opportunity to serve and the support extended to him during his tenure.

“It has been a privilege to contribute meaningfully to the success of the administration through my dedication, commitment, and service,” he wrote.

Adedamola also expressed satisfaction with his contributions to the administration, saying he was proud of his role in advancing its objectives and supporting the discharge of its responsibilities.

He did not state any reason for his resignation in the letter.
