Sensing that men of the Oyo State ministry of environment May arrive popular Gospel musician’s Music House, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, any moment from now, protesters are beginning to arrive the premises.
The state government had issued the owner of the building a 3-day ultimatum or risking demolition. The ultimatum ended yesterday.
While the state government alleged that the owner of the building contravened one of its building laws, Ayefele has pointed accusing fingers at information commissioner, Mr. Toye Arulogun, who he said had expressed dissatisfactions with some of the station’s programmes.
Only last night, OYO INSIGHT recalled that lovers of Ayefele kept vigil around the building which houses South West’s most-listened to radio station- Fresh 105.5 FM owned by the musician.
This is just as Ayefele’s lawyers are said to have filed a case in court to stop the planned demolition.
In their hundreds, the placard-carrying protesters are asking the state government to wait for court actions.
